Bangga Jadi Indonesian? (Tanggapan buat Merry Ling)

Some despise Indonesia and spend time cursing and condemning and ranting, and do nothing else.

Some love the country no matter what.

Some hate the country, analyze what is wrong, identify the source of the problems, and start making efforts, albeit small, to improve things.

Your choice?

Regards,
Atis

  1. setuju pak..

Thanks, Mer. Saya tunggu postinganmu berikutnya.

  3. I have to say I love this country…. excluding the politicians, of course 🙂

Jujur, sesekali saya memang berpikir untuk mecari suaka hahaha… but on my second thought, I believe I will never find any place as comfortable as this country… a lot of good food for affordable price, the pirated DVDs, you can still find many sincere, polite and genuinely nice people here , and of course my family & my doggies…

  4. Wow, Fiona, you certainly are a postive-thinking person. Despite the mess of this country, you still find some things you enjoy, which you probably will never find in any other country.

Polite and genuinely nice people. Hmmm . . . may be that’s true. I myself have often been forced to redefine our friiendliness and hospitality. Are they genuine? Are they fake or just lip-service?
